The only way that you can get a tan in a few minutes is by using a bronzer, you'll tint the skin as you apply, it's make up basically. You can also instantly wash it off. It's temporary and most product rubs off on your clothes.

In a few hours...
Sunless tanners, tannings beds and sun tanning can give you the tan you desire. But remember that tanning beds and the sun emits harmful UV rays that can cause skin cancer, premature skin aging and wrinkles, elk! So I would always say fake tan gives you the best tan.

Now here's an instant tan funny story. A noob in the world of sunless tanning, my sweet pretty girlfriend grab an sunless tanner off the shelves of her favorite beauty bar. This product came with a guide bronzer to ensure even application. She applied it all over her body, carefull following the instruction on how to avoid streaks and patches. After applying the product she waited and hour and hit the shower. Of course the guide bronzer washed off. She then noticed that her tan was gone, she thought to herself, maybe she wasn't marinated enough. So she did the whole process again, this time she didn't shower and went straight to the mall to meet her friends, not minding the awfull fake tanner's scent.

At the mall a few hours later the DHA from the sunless tanners started to tint her skin. It's a bit darker than she had in mind. So when she chance a mirror she was shocked at the sight of her dark tan. Well it's not so bad that she did not wish to hide under a rock until her tan wears off but it was an experience that made her ran away from sunless tanners and preffered tanning beds.

One of these days I'll be able to convert her.

Waterproof Instant Tan

There isn't really a waterproof bronzer because bronzers has to come off and are washable but there are best instant tanning products products out there that gives you slight water resistant so you won't drip a brown colored sweat and won't ruin your clothes by rubbing off and staining it. But if it does rub off to your dress, it also come off with soap and water, no permanent stain. Gives you a nice natural looking tan and good shimmer.  
Tip: using spray tan needs a little practice to make sure you've applied it evenly, another way to apply it is by mixing it with lotion, get a nice moisturizer, put some on your palm and them spray some aero tan on it, mix it quickly and they apply on to your skin, work with small areas at a time.

Instant Tan with a Bronzer!

There are a lot of ways to get the best tan besides baking under the sun. Sometimes you can get an instant but temporary washable tan by using a bronzer.

Bronzer is actually a make up that tints the skin and washes off with water, although some product comes with sweat or light water resistant.

It's very easy to apply and you can easily adjust the shade of tan that you like. However bronzers can rub off to your dress so you should avoid applying on areas which will be covered by your dress.

And wait till you shower, my room mate almost freaked out when she accidentally opened the bathroom door while I was taking a shower and washing off my bronzer, it was like a screen from a horror movie, my bathroom floor was a tint of darkbrown, maroon-ish, blood-like.

When you apply your bronzer, make sure your skin is oil free, to make extra sure, it's best to apply it after shower when your skin is clean. If you are using a powder form bronzer, it's advisable to apply a little powder in the area that you're going to work on, it will serve as a base and to make sure that the area is oil free. Some bronzers come in cream or mousse form that you can latter into your skin like make up.
